Editorial policy
How we work
Dental Billing Review is editorially independent. Here is how the rankings are researched, scored, kept current, and corrected.
How we research
For each company we review public sources: the vendor's own pricing and service pages, third-party review platforms (Google, Facebook, Birdeye, Trustpilot, Glassdoor, Indeed, Clutch, BBB), and public company records for founding, ownership, and scale.
We distinguish customer reviews from employee reviews, weight ratings by volume, and discount star ratings that live on a vendor's own or affiliated pages. Ratings we could only find on vendor-controlled properties are labeled vendor-hosted.
How we score
Every company is scored out of 100 across five weighted pillars: pricing and value (25%), reputation and reviews (25%), service depth (20%), support and practice fit (15%), and technology and automation (15%). The overall score is the weighted sum, and the leaderboard is ordered strictly by that number.
No company can pay for placement or a higher score. Commercial relationships, if any, never influence the ranking.
How we keep it current
We re-review the field quarterly. When a company changes pricing, ownership, or services, we update the affected review, refresh its visible “as of” date and the page's dateModified, and update the sitemap. Pricing and ratings are point-in-time; always verify current terms with the vendor.
Corrections
If you represent a company listed here and believe a fact is wrong or out of date, contact us with a source and we will review it promptly. Corrections that change a score are reflected on the review page and, where relevant, the leaderboard.
